Here in the city of Wooster, Ohio there are a large variety of different places individuals may choose to eat. Today we will take a closer look at a very popular restaurant called “Basil Asian Bistro” located just less than a mile from the College of Wooster campus. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with rustic undertones and colors of deep red which creates a homey but sophisticated atmosphere. The decorum is merely the icing on the cake of the restaurant as the food which is served there is both appetizing and delicious.
The food served at Basil Asian Bistro is primarily from China as well as the Pacific and Southeast Asia, all which have been seasoned and executed with the greatest finesse. The various options of sushi are one of the most appreciated items off of the menu, for they have many different kinds of rolls all for reasonable prices.
The Thai curry dishes as well as the stir fry’s served at the restaurant are also very popular as many of them sport flavors of coconut, ginger and soy sauce. Each of the dishes are unique and delicious as the flavors have been perfected prior to being served to the public. My personal favorite dish on the menu is the “Thai Spaghetti” which costs about $10 and can be served with shrimp and pork for an additional $5. The main component of the dish is Mandarin egg noodles which have been tossed with various vegetables and are served in a spicy Thai basil sauce. 10/10 would recommend it to all!
